Resident Evil Village: Free demake released
The latest game of the Resident Evil series is long and has a lot to offer, but also a short demake of Resident Evil Village can be fun. Of course, Lady Dimitrescu must not be missing and even in 2D she works threatening.
A mix of Resident Evil and Castlevania
With a rating between 82 and 84 on Metacritic, Resident Evil Village belongs to one of the most successful games in the series. The big castle and the performance of Lady Dimitrescu are not innocent and certainly the dodge is a climax for many players for many players.
You have to fight your way through the castle with numerous corridors, mutated prisoners ward off, which hide in the dungeon - not only shoot the adrenaline in the height, but also reminds of the first level of Castlevania, a 2D -Action platforms from 1986. This has developed a developer called OCO as a template and published on the Itch.IO page a demake with the name Residentvania - a short but exciting game for real fans.
In this video you get the game from the beginning to the end:
Development took a few weeks
The developer has used two months to make the game, he reveals at the itch.io side, but for this short time, his work can be quite seen.
As Ethan Winters, you have your way through the dilapidated city, past the Duke and his cart, to the scary castle Dimitrescu, which is filled with mutanted and werewolves who do not want to let go.
At the end you are standing against one of the daughters. Impressive is the game mechanics to defeat them - your village should have played, you know what you have to do. The highlight is the meeting with the big vampirelady, which is not good for Ethan.
The whole gaming experience takes only about four minutes, but it s free and ensures a great retro feeling with the iconic platform for a great retro feel.
