New MMORPG Elyon has to deactivate some features to start - too many problems

What is Elyon? The new MMORPG Elyon started in Korea at the end of 2020 and finally came to us in the West. As a free2play game it can be played for free.

The action-packed combat system, which recalls a mixture of Tera and Black Desert, is a feature of the games. It also offers a colorful steam punk setting in the Asia look.

What are the problems? Elyon appeared on October 20, 2021, and since then, complaints of players are piling on problems with performance in the game. So it always comes to lags, which is anything but fun with a dynamic action combat system.

In addition, players report from long queues. Both problems seem to rise more in Europe. But the developers have already adopted the problems and developed several solutions.

What are the actions of developers? To resolve the problems with the LAG, the developers grab drastic measures. Because apparently two features of the game are reinforced to blame for the lags. Therefore, until further notice, the global World Quests and RealM-VS-RealM battles are deactivated.

At least the RVR battles will be online at the latest to the next server maintenance on 27 October. The battles planned until then are treated as a draw and distributed rewards accordingly.

To reduce the queues when logging in, a new EU server named Perseus will soon go online. Until then, Andromeda and Sagittarius no new characters can be created on the servers Andromeda and Sagittarius.

All this should increase performance and reduce queues.
